Position Summary As a Customer Service Associate - Logistics, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products to customer locations. You will monitor delivery schedules, track shipments, and communicate with internal and external customers to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities

Order Management: Use our Transportation Management System (TMS) to enter and process customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely information. Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipment status daily, working closely with common carriers to ensure on-time deliveries and maintaining strong transportation relationships. Communication: Collaborate with associates from other shifts, customers, and carriers to resolve transportation issues and provide excellent customer service. Daily Logs and Checklists: Complete daily logs and checklists to ensure accurate records and efficient operations. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve transportation issues, working with customers to find solutions and improve overall experience. bolthires Savings: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency, providing recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders. Other Projects: Participate in other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to the success of the team and the company. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Customer Service Experience: At least 1 year of customer service experience in a related field. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or some college preferred. Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn and operate multiple company and customer-owned transportation systems and applications. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. Communication and Time Management: Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications: Logistics Experience: Experience in logistics or a related field is highly desirable. Transportation Management Systems: Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other logistics software. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CSCP or CPIM, are a plus. Work Environment and Culture As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from home and manage your schedule effectively. However, you will be required to: Work Schedule: Work a typical schedule of 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, with the ability to work weekends as needed to meet customer needs. Communication: Maintain regular communication with team members and management through digital channels. Performance: Meet performance expectations and contribute to the success of the team and the company.
