Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic execution of daily operational activities, including tracking promotional periods and performing present analysis to make corrective actions if necessary
  • Collaborate with an internal team of experts in inventory, pricing, promotion, finance, store brands, store design, marketing, and store operations
  • Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock
  • Create and maintain areas of strength for competitive analysis, seeking out new competitive opportunities and making recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the market and industry trends
  • Research customer product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive landscape

Essential Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; some Access or other database knowledge
  • Willingness to travel 5-10%
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
