Research Assistant - Innovation (full-time)

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre focused on scientific discovery and innovation in patient-centered medicine. The Research Assistant will contribute to strategy development and support innovation projects aimed at improving patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the investigation of implementing emerging innovation in clinical settings
  • Support the integration of evaluation processes of pilot projects
  • Perform analysis of benchmark organizations
  • Perform process reviews at MUHC
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Assist with the promotion of IMPACT
  • Contribute to the development of innovation starter kit tools
  • Perform additional tasks that support innovation initiatives as assigned

Skills

  • Master's Degree
  • Master's in Health Informatics
  • Post work placement at MUHC
  • Excellent French and English, spoken and written
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision
  • Health Informatics training
  • Experience working in research labs and supporting researchers
