What You'll Be Doing

As a Remote Member Experience Advocate, you will be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional service: Deliver outstanding service to every caller, building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication
• Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills: Research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations, utilizing your problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Handling customer concerns: Effectively handle customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution, while keeping records of all interactions and changes
• Confidentially handling policy owner information: Ensure compliance and communication standards are met, handling sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
• Collaborating with internal teams: Work with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service related position: Proven experience in a customer service role, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience
• Insurance/call center experience preferred: Experience in the insurance industry or call center environment is highly desirable
• Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude: Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Technical aptitude: Experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies
• Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations: Familiarity with life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, as well as various insurance products
• Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework preferred: Completion of coursework in the insurance industry or LOMA (Life Office Management Association) is highly desirable
• High School Diploma required: A high school diploma is required, with some college-level coursework preferred
• Internet requirements: A minimum internet speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload, with the ability to support a VPN
