Skills

  • Relevant post-secondary education (certificate, diploma, or degree) and 1-5 years of directly related experience in the field of work to which you are applying (or an equivalent combination of training and experience)
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Pro)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Lived experience as a member of one or more equity-deserving groups (Follow this link for Definitions of Equity‑Deserving Groups)
  • Professional experience in an administrative support role at a post-secondary institution
  • Proficiency in or experience with systems used at Dalhousie such as Banner and Brightspace
