Power BI & Snowflake Data Developer
Realty Income Corporation is committed to creating long-term value for all stakeholders and is seeking a Power BI & Snowflake Data Developer. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining analytics solutions using Power BI on a Snowflake data platform, translating business requirements into effective data models and reports that support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards using best-practice data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema)
- Write efficient SQL in Snowflake to build views, transformations, and curated data sets for reporting and self-service
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability
- Implement row-level security, workspace governance, and deployment practices in Power BI Service
- Monitor report and query performance, troubleshoot issues, and tune models/SQL as needed
- Document data definitions, measures, and report logic to support adoption and self-service analytics
Skills
- BS/BA or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
- At least 1 year of professional experience developing analytics solutions using Power BI
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with Snowflake
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience unit testing (test classes) and validating change sets
