Analyst - Diligence (Hybrid)
Hilco Global is a diversified financial services company that delivers integrated professional services and capital solutions. They are seeking an Analyst in their Diligence Services team to perform due diligence services and provide field examination reports to lenders based on operational effectiveness and collateral performance of borrower companies.
Responsibilities
- Conducting management interview and inquiry to identify risk management issues and evaluate operational effectiveness of the company
- Testing compliance with lender reporting
- Performing sample-based testing, verification and other documentation-based analysis
- Preparing reporting which highlights key findings
- Participating in meetings with potential / existing lenders and delivering findings in a concise but effective manner
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Accounting Degree or CPA a plus
- 1-3 years financial analysis experience or accounting-related field (actual level will be commensurate with candidate's experience)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet aggressive deadlines
- Collaborate effectively with others
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Consumer lending or accounting experience a plus
