Investment Counselor Analyst
HSBC is a global bank committed to opening up a world of opportunity. As an Investment Counselor Analyst, you will support Investment Counselors and Relationship Managers in providing clients with tailored investment solutions and enhancing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Investment Counselors and Relationship Managers to offer support in providing clients with appropriate investment solutions and attracting/enhancing client relationships and profitability
- Be responsible for assessing client needs, supporting development of comprehensive investment strategies, coordinating sales and execution against that strategy, and monitoring performance and appropriateness of the client’s overall investment portfolio
- Build trust with clients and your team in these interactions by learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide creative solutions
Skills
- Experience in investment advisory; portfolio management, brokerage, or institutional sales
- Knowledge of private banking business (onshore and offshore), and competitive and regulatory environment
- BS/BA degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
- Series 7 and 66 Licenses, may allow for contingency to obtain Series 7 and/or 66 within 60 days of acquiring job
- Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish
