Associate Product Owner

Medmo is a leading healthcare technology company transforming how patients and providers schedule imaging appointments. They are seeking an Associate Product Owner to support the development of patient engagement and care coordination platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product features and improve user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements
  • Help track progress of features from development through launch
  • Learn the patient journey and identify opportunities to reduce friction and improve communication
  • Support improvements to patient-facing tools and internal workflows
  • Help document and understand Medmo’s care coordination and call center workflows
  • Assist in translating operational needs into product requirements for call center and telephony tools (e.g., TalkDesk, ContactCenter)
  • Contribute ideas to improve agent efficiency and system integrations
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to support feature development
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Help define and track success metrics for features
  • Assist with user research, feedback collection, and basic data analysis to inform product decisions

Skills

  • 1-2 years of product management, product operations, business analysis, or a related role
  • Direct experience working in the healthcare industry is required
  • An understanding of HIPAA and patient data regulations is essential
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a variety of audiences
  • Must be able to commute to NYC based office, although this is a hybrid role
  • Exposure to call center tools, CRM systems, or telephony platforms
  • Interest in AI tools, voice technology, or automation
  • Basic experience with SQL or data analysis
