Responsibilities
As a bookkeeping software customer support specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert guidance and support to customers on accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and troubleshooting needs
- Demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
- Utilizing your bookkeeping and accounting expertise to resolve customer issues and provide confident resolution
- Communicating with customers in a friendly, professional tone, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless customer support and exceptional service delivery

Schedule
As a remote contractor with arenaflex, you'll have the flexibility to create your own schedule. Available hours are between 8 am and 8 pm CST, Monday to Friday. You'll have the opportunity to work at times that suit you best, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
- Bookkeeping and accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and more
- Customer service experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service over the phone
- Strong ownership of customer issues and ability to take control of situations to provide confident resolution
- Tech-savviness and proficiency in computer software and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly tone and professional demeanor
Work Environment and Technology Requirements
To ensure a productive and efficient work environment, you'll need:
- A quiet, uninterrupted space
- An organized desk area
- A personal computer (no tablet)
- Broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps
- Wired internet connection (no Wi-Fi or mobile internet)
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date
- Wired USB headset with microphone
- No VPN; computers may not connect to internet services through a private VPN during arenaflex working time
Important Information
As an independent contractor with arenaflex, you'll need to:
- Live and work from the United States (except CA, NY, PA, WA)
- Successfully pass a criminal background check
- Agree to a contractual relationship with arenaflex, which will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings
- Understand and agree to the terms of being an independent contractor, including no claim against arenaflex for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind
