[Remote] Accounts Payable Associate/Entry (MD or remote)

The role involves managing vendor invoices, maintaining vendor records, and performing administrative tasks related to Accounts Payable operations.
Responsibilities
- Review and ensure proper GL coding for vendor invoices in compliance with financial policies
- Manage vendor onboarding and maintain accurate vendor records
- Handle vendor inquiries and establish strong working relationships
- Research discrepancies and clarify questions prior to processing invoices
- Perform various administrative tasks related to Accounts Payable operations
Skills
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience required
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software and web-based applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Coupa AP system or similar software
- Additional education or certifications in Finance or Accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team player mentality
