About the Role

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information across all ESPN platforms, including television, digital, and print. You'll work closely with our team to identify and resolve issues, and you'll be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sports information across all ESPN platforms

• Work in individual settings and in groups to deliver accurate and timely data, including clock-and-score and other metrics
• Create and maintain a working knowledge of ESPN's role in fueling digital and television productions
• Check the results of your own work and that of others, with a focus on high-quality and attention to detail
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and processes, and help newsroom leaders coordinate full- and part-time staff
• Identify potential issues and propose solutions, and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Participate in group and office meetings, and seek and respond to feedback on personal performance
• Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures

Required Capabilities

* Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and rules

• Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems
• Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments
• Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and stakeholders

Preferred Capabilities

* 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, preferably in media

• Knowledge of how sports data is used in media and research
• Working knowledge of ESPN products and productions
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Experience leading or training a team
• Ability to speak and write Spanish
• Experience using social media in a business or news context

Education

* High school diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

Work Environment

* This is a part-time position, with a focus on evenings, weekends, and holidays

• You'll be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• You'll be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
