ABB is a global market leader that helps industries become leaner and cleaner. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will gain practical experience by collaborating with teams, supporting operations, and enhancing your skills while working on embedded product design and development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines
- Design and Development of Embedded Linux based Product for Instrumentation
- Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing Product solutions to resolve them
- Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs
- Learning development on C++, real time OS
- Work directly with Senior Engineers to develop and test new approaches for ABB Products
- Learning Azure Devops and other agile management methodologies
Skills
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science engineering or related fields, in the United States
- Knowledge of C++, Embedded Linux, RTOS
- Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
- Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality
- Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
