IT .NET Developer Intern (Summer 2026)
BWX Technologies, Inc. is a U.S.-based company providing nuclear solutions for various sectors. They are seeking a Cyber Security Intern to assist with administrative duties and support the development and maintenance of applications using C# and the .NET framework.
Responsibilities
- Assists in developing and maintaining applications using C# and the .NET framework
- Writes, debugs, and tests code under the supervision of senior developers
- Updates and improves existing software features
- Participates in code reviews and team meetings
- Documents code changes and technical processes
Skills
- High School Diploma with current enrollment and completed college coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of C#, .NET, and object-oriented programming
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be able to work throughout summer 2026
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with no dual citizenship
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and attention to detail
