Fusion Solutions is looking for two Field Techs in OH / PA / WVA markets for Verizon Site Boss Projects for a client. Title: Field Tech Market: PA, OH, WVA Pay Rate: $40.00/hr (15 taxable + 25 nontaxable) plus mileage and hotel if work assigned is out of home market assigned Start: August 2024 Duration: 6 months # of Resources Needed: 2 Scope of Work: 1 st Scope of Work (Work to be performed at 25 cell sites to start) Ciena 5164 + SiteBoss Installation
- CSR prep
- Console into installed and powered CSR with laptop
- Verify device Internetwork Operating System (IOS) version and update if needed
- Retrieve site-specific configuration and load on to the router
- Verify configuration is appropriately loaded
- If existing cabling will not reach new CSR, install new cabling like for like. Up to (5) cables, less than 3m each. Cables may be SMF, MMF, or CAT5
- Redress cables, and label cables as needed
- Siteboss turnup
- Console into installed and powered Siteboss with laptop
- Retrieve site-specific configuration and load
- Cable to existing CSR
- Verify connectivity
- CSR Migration
- Call in to support center to initiate migration/cut
- Migrate SFPs from legacy CSR to new CSR per site-specific new CSR configuration
- Migrate (1) Ethernet backhaul cable from legacy CSR to new CSR.
- Based on cut sheets, Migrate radio cables from legacy CSR to new CSR (CAT5 and /or Fiber); up to five (5)
- Migrate Siteboss from legacy CSR to new CSR
- Verify with support center site restored
- Complete close-out packages 2 nd Scope of Work (Work to be performed at 35 cell sites to start)
- Migrating existing CSR ring from 10G to 100G
- Site prep (day time): Site survey for readiness, test new DF fiber spans (OTDR), and wire existing CSR to new DF fibers pairs already in place.
- Site migration (MW): Once site prep is completed, it’s anticipated remote engineer can perform all work needed without field assistance. However, customer is requesting 2 field techs be in market and on standby should they be needed. Each ring is anticipated to take up to 3 nights. Thanks! Benefits (employee contribution):
