Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst on the Pinion Risk Management team, you’ll analyze financial data and support decision-making for dairy farms, contributing to their growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and Interpret Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to support decision-making and growth initiatives for dairy clients
- Deliver Accurate Reporting: Prepare financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, budgets, benchmarking) and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate for Impact: Work closely with team members to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency
- Support Growth: Provide timely analytics to drive regional and national expansion strategies
- Adapt and Innovate: Learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies to strengthen analytical capabilities
- Engage with Clients: Participate in on-site visits to dairy farms up to twice a week, with limited overnight travel
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Agribusiness, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Experience with farm and production management software (e.g., DairyComp, FeedWatch) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
