Analyst
The California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) is seeking an Analyst for the Energy and Climate Unit. This role involves supporting the unit's work through analytical tasks, data tracking, and administrative functions related to clean energy infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Providing analytical and administrative functions that support the work of the Energy and Climate Unit
- Tracking key data on clean energy infrastructure projects
- Reviewing and analyzing sensitive materials and applicable rules/laws
- Keeping team members informed of pending legislation and relevant informational updates that could impact projects
- Less complex administrative duties as assigned
Skills
- Direct supervision from the Manager of the Energy and Climate Unit
- General program direction from the Deputy Director of the Energy and Climate Unit
- Providing analytical and administrative functions that support the work of the Energy and Climate Unit
- Tracking key data on clean energy infrastructure projects
- Reviewing and analyzing sensitive materials and applicable rules/laws
- Keeping team members informed of pending legislation and relevant informational updates that could impact projects
- Less complex administrative duties as assigned
- Hybrid telework schedule with in-person reporting at headquarters in Sacramento two times a week
- New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable
- Unless you have transfer or reinstatement eligibility, please take the Staff Services Analyst exam to obtain eligibility for this position
- If you are using education as your basis of meeting the minimum qualifications, you must provide school transcripts
