Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences, processing transactions, and providing support to our pharmacy operations. Key Responsibilities

• Model and convey a positive and excellent client experience, ensuring that all customers receive considerate, fair, and professional service
• Register sales on assigned sales register, provide clients with efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately
• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions
• Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience
• Model and offer client support best practices with all colleagues, including relational habits and arenaflex service qualities
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to organization policies and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
• Handle calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians, and process manual claims for third-party program prescription services
• Assist and support the Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, receiving, checking, and storing shipments of medications
• Maintain knowledge of organization asset protection methods and record claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged products, including Rx drugs

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
• Strong numerical abilities, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment
• Previous work experience with arenaflex or a similar organization
• PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through the designated PTCB training program
• Good numerical abilities, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control
