Overview

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that drive business growth. This role plays a key part in expanding our third party referral channels (e.g. affiliates, professional associations, referral networks, and other mutually beneficial collaborations). How you'll make an impact

  • Help define and execute the partnership strategy aligned with business goals, including segmentation and prioritisation.
  • Partnership Development - identify and prospect targeted introducer partners that align with our strategy
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals and presentations/pitch materials.
  • Nurture and manage ongoing relationships with partners to ensure mutual value and long-term engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Service, Marketing, Underwriting, and Compliance to integrate partnerships into the business model and ensure operational success.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of each partnership using KPIs such as lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue contribution.
  • Support co-branded marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and content initiatives that activate and promote partnerships.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging partnership opportunities in the insurance space.

About You

  • Proven experience in business development or partnership management, ideally within insurance, financial services, or B2B sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience building value-driven relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance market, including key product areas and distribution models.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at multiple levels.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and partnership tracking tools.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number and quality of new partnerships secured.
  • Lead volume and conversion rate from partner channels.
  • Revenue generated through partnerships.
  • Partner satisfaction and retention rates.
  • ROI on partnership campaigns and initiatives.
