Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process. This position will be responsible for entering vendor invoices accurately and efficiently into our SAP system, reviewing and processing invoices, and collaborating with vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently into our SAP system

• Review and process invoices, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to invoices or payments
• Perform fortnightly reviews of SAP reports (GRIR and MRBR) to ensure that invoices are being processed accurately and efficiently
• Plan and prepare 1099 reporting, ensuring that all vendors have the necessary tax identification and W-9 information on file
• Provide exceptional customer service to vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including vendor information and payment history
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth execution of all AP programs

Work Breakdown

* Receipt processing: 60%

• Vendor support: 30%
• Incidental processing/exceptional activities: 10%

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• At least 0-2 years of relevant work experience in accounts payable or a related field
• Strong background in accounting principles and practices
• Experience with SAP or other accounting software is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
