Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data in our systems, ensuring that information is complete, up-to-date, and error-free. Your key responsibilities will include: * Entering and updating data in our database and other systems with precision and accuracy. * Verifying data by comparing it to source documents and correcting any errors or inconsistencies. * Maintaining and organizing electronic files, ensuring data is easily retrievable and well-maintained. * Preparing and sorting documents for data entry, ensuring all necessary information is included. * Generating and reviewing reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness. * Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve data entry efficiency. * Responding to inquiries and providing data-related support as needed. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related fields is a plus. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software. * Excellent typing speed and accuracy. * Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies. * Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines. Preferred Qualifications While prior experience is not required, we welcome candidates with previous experience in data entry or administrative support. Additionally, familiarity with remote work environments and virtual collaboration tools is beneficial. Working Hours and Environment As a full-time remote position, you will work from the comfort of your home in Nigeria, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Nigerian time). Flexibility may be required based on project needs and deadlines.
