[Remote] Backend Engineer (Java + Spring Boot) – HotelOS by Multisystems

They are seeking a Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, while also working with Kafka and cloud deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design & build scalable backend services in Java Spring Boot
- Work with Kafka, microservices, and cloud deployments
- Build REST APIs and integrate with external platforms (Google, Booking.com, Expedia)
- Own features end-to-end: design → code → deploy → monitor
Skills
- Strong experience in Java + Spring Boot
- Experience with PostgreSQL and database design
- Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven systems
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/E2E/Wasabi S3)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of OAuth2, authentication, and security best practices
- Experience with API integrations
- Caching (Redis)
- Observability tools
