Job Description
We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an experienced Finance Assistant. In this role, you will manage key accounting functions including bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliations, crypto and multi-currency journal postings, and monthly revenue analysis. You'll play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy across fiat and crypto accounts, leveraging advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills to handle large datasets, support VAT reporting, and deliver detailed cost and revenue insights. Core Tasks
- UK accounting experience – including VAT, payroll, and annual accounts
- Bookeeping
- Posting and allocating Invoices (Xero)
- Debtors & Revenue tracker updates
- Posting journals for crypto reconciliations with gain/loss adjustments
- Experience dealing with multiple currencies
- Understanding of crypto assets & revaluations
- Reconciliation of Crypto & Fiat Accounts
- Experience with Accrued income & Accrued expenses
- Updating/Loading/Processing large data into Gsheets/Excel Files
- Gsheets/excel – Advanced Proficiency (Formulas, Other Functions etc.)
- Cost Break-down Analysis
- Monthly Revenue Analysis
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance or related subjects
- 4-6 Years of related practical experience in Accounting & Finance
- Excellent English Skills (Written and Spoken)
- Experience working in UK Companies
- Experience working with accounting Software
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite
- Cryptocurrency hands-on Experience
Nice to have Requirements
- Newly or Partly Qualified Accountant
- Xero Accounting Software Experience
- UK VAT Experience
