Amplifier Health is seeking a senior clinical leader to be the architect and steward of our clinical strategy. This individual will serve as our company's leading subject matter expert, ensuring that every aspect of our BHI program—from the assessments we use to the care pathways we enable—is built on a foundation of unimpeachable scientific and clinical integrity. About the Role: The Scientific Soul of Our BHI Offering. This is a strategic, high-visibility leadership role, not a patient-facing one. As the Director of Behavioral Health, you will be the "talisman" for our clinical credibility. You will be the internal authority on psychometric literature and academic research, guiding our product and commercial teams. Externally, you will be our trusted voice of expertise, building confidence with clinical leaders at our customer and partner organizations. You will be the ultimate "why" behind our clinical approach. What You'll Do:

  • Own Clinical Strategy: Serve as the company's leading internal expert on behavioral health integration, the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), psychometrics, and measurement-based care.
  • Guide Product Development: Provide deep clinical and scientific guidance to our product, AI, and engineering teams to ensure our BHI platform is evidence-based, effective, and safe.
  • Support Commercial Efforts: Act as the key subject matter expert in high-stakes conversations with clinical leaders from prospective and current customers, articulating our clinical methodology and building deep trust and credibility.
  • Drive Thought Leadership: Develop and own our clinical content strategy. Author white papers, lead webinars, and create best-practice guides that establish Amplifier Health as an industry leader.
  • Stay at the Forefront of Research: Continuously monitor and synthesize the latest academic research and industry trends in behavioral health, translating new insights into actionable strategies for the company.
  • Build Our Clinical Network: Establish and lead a Clinical Advisory Board, cultivating relationships with key opinion leaders to ensure our strategy is grounded in diverse, real-world expertise.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications):

  • Advanced Clinical Credentials: An advanced degree is required. You are a PhD in Clinical Psychology, an MD/DO with a specialization in Psychiatry, a PsyD, or hold a similar terminal degree in a relevant field.
  • Deep Industry Experience: 10+ years of experience in a combination of clinical practice, behavioral health research, and/or a senior clinical strategy role within a digital health or health technology company.
  • Recognized Expertise: You are a recognized expert in the field, ideally with a history of publications, conference presentations, or thought leadership in areas such as BHI, CoCM, digital mental health, or clinical informatics.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: You possess the rare ability to distill and communicate complex clinical and scientific concepts with elegant simplicity to diverse audiences, from AI engineers to hospital CFOs.
  • Strategic Acumen: You have a proven ability to connect deep clinical knowledge to business objectives, product roadmap decisions, and go-to-market strategy.
  • A Builder's Mindset: You are energized by the prospect of building a clinical program from the ground up in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.
