Responsibilities

• Verify benefits for physical therapy via online portal and phone calls
• Submit and track authorizations
• document in electronic medical record Skills & Qualifications
• H.S. graduate or GED certificate
• Able to successfully maneuver online insurance sites
• Great communicator; friendly personality
• Explanation of Benefits experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of insurance verification experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience utilizing EMR systems, including electronic filing, denials, aging of accounts
• Ability to navigate insurance websites
