Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines that support our business operations. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design and develop data solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality data products. Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop robust data pipelines that support business operations, including data ingestion, processing, and delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and design data solutions that meet those needs
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Work with the data science team to integrate data and models into automated processes, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data products
- Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Ensure data quality and accessibility standards are met, and data is properly integrated from various sources
- Investigate current data technology conditions to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
- Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach given the requirements of the model or use case
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data pipeline development
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data engineering and data science
- Experience with Cloud-based platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and its data challenges
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
