Job Summary

This fully remote position is primarily responsible for providing outstanding customer service over the phone, obtaining complete and accurate information, and assisting customers in a timely manner. As a 3rd Shift Customer Experience Agent at blithequark, you will also be responsible for dispatching calls to technicians and performing various administrative duties. We're looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls to schedule jobs and handle customer service inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Initiate outbound phone calls for scheduling of service calls and follow up with customers as needed
  • Handle various customer inquiries and requests efficiently and accurately, providing timely solutions and resolutions
  • Dispatch the correct technician to each job based on qualifications, geography, customer preference, and other relevant factors
  • Utilize Service Titan software to effectively plan and dispatch jobs, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with technicians and customers
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding estimated arrival times, technician details, and other relevant information to ensure transparency and trust
  • Communicate with technicians regarding availability, expected completion time, and other important details to ensure efficient job execution
  • Ensure accuracy of details (customer name, phone number, address, etc.) on all scheduled calls to prevent errors and delays
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties as requested by your direct supervisor and other managers in the company, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be familiar with the surrounding area (previous experience in the Chicagoland area is an asset)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a customer service environment, with previous dispatch experience being a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems (including Service Titan)
  • Ability to work from home efficiently, with a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection
  • Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends, including 3rd shift hours (6:00pm-2:30am Monday through Thursday and 3:30pm-12:00am on Sunday)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the plumbing, electric, or HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology
  • Dispatch experience, with knowledge of scheduling software and systems
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities and deadlines
