Job Duties and Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Support Representative at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and helping our clients overcome their unique challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing enthusiastic and compassionate customer service for inbound and outbound phone and email support
  • Working closely and professionally with other departments to ensure the best possible resolution for our clients
  • Managing multiple software programs while conversing with internal and external customers
  • Maintaining and promoting excellent client relations through prompt, efficient, and accurate responses to email and phone communications
  • Delivering strong and proactive follow-up to customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
  • Adhering to defined procedures, standards, and performance expectations

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills and competencies, including:

  • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external customers. Excellent documentation skills, keen comprehension skills, and good composition skills are also essential.
  • Customer Focus: The ability to listen, empathize, and understand customer concerns, with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
  • Problem Solving: The ability to take ownership of issues and strive for one-call resolution, with strong time management skills, action-oriented and self-disciplined, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, excellent data entry and documentation skills, and the ability to quickly learn and understand new programs and technology.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered
  • Two years of customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the payments industry a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
