Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior GL Bookkeeper to join our accounting team on a full-time remote basis. As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger. You will also be responsible for ensuring that financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and management's expectations. Key Responsibilities

* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger

• Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for blithequark and external entities for assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and management's expectations
• Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
• Perform special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

• Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
• Data-driven and detail-focused with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
