As a User Support Specialist, you'll be part of a high-impact team dedicated to providing top-notch support to our growing user base, ensuring they can focus on creating exceptional content.

The Role

As an Experienced User Support Specialist (Live Chat), you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional support experiences to blithequark creators and their subscribers via email and live chat. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing friendly, expert support to creators and subscribers via live chat (up to 50% of your time, or 4 hours per shift)
  • Attending daily team meetings and contributing to team operations (up to 20% of your time)
  • Providing support via email for the remaining time
  • Collaborating closely with the Support team and other colleagues across the company to solve user concerns effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrating urgency and discernment when escalating user issues and feedback to Engineering, Product, and other teams
  • Staying informed about product and company updates by being a frequent user of the blithequark app

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Support, Engineering, and/or Product teams, including experience with live channels
  • A passion for helping people and finding it rewarding to solve their problems
  • Excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing
  • Comfort with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to provide solutions for a wide variety of technical support challenges
  • Alignment with blithequark's mission to build a new economic engine for culture and experience as a blithequark subscriber (experience as a creator is a plus!)
  • Zendesk and Stripe experience is a plus
  • Direct experience with coding languages (JavaScript and HTML) and third-party APIs (Stripe) is a plus
