Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to clients across various industries. You'll interact with customers primarily through inbound phone calls, chat, and email, helping them with their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Schedule and Flexibility

As a remote worker, you'll have the freedom to create a schedule that works best for you, with the majority of work hours taking place during weekdays and daytime hours. This means you can balance your work and personal life with ease.

Earnings and Revenue

As an independent contractor with blithequark, your earnings will vary based on the client you're working with and your performance metrics. Our competitive hourly rates typically range from $14 to $20 per hour, with additional incentives available for meeting client and performance targets. You'll be paid based on your phone call status, ensuring you're rewarded for your hard work and dedication.

  • Ability to work in a quiet, uninterrupted space with an organized desk area

Technology and Equipment Requirements

To ensure seamless connectivity and clear communication, you'll need to meet the following technology and equipment requirements:

  • Personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted)
  • Wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication
  • High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity
  • Operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS)
  • Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed
  • Smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad required for program work, along with an authentication app
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system must be used (some clients will accept an AppleOS)

Work Environment Requirements

To ensure you can focus on delivering exceptional customer service, you'll need to meet the following work environment requirements:

  • Quiet, uninterrupted space
  • Organized desk area

Contractual Relationship

As an independent contractor with blithequark, you'll be responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and work-related expenses. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment, and blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings. When you receive your contract, you'll be asked to agree to have no claim against blithequark for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.

Important Information

We're currently unable to work with contractors residing in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC. Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check. We're able to work with contractors residing in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico.
