As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing human resources strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. You will work closely with our HR Centers of Excellence (COE) teams, business leaders, and other stakeholders to drive business outcomes and enhance employee engagement and productivity.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement human resources strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, considering business needs, employee experiences, and external market factors.• Build deep understanding of the assigned client groups and their needs, as well as how they fit into the broader organization.• Drive individual engagement strategies that foster a culture where all employees are respected and valued.• Lead change management efforts as our businesses continue to evolve.• Utilize workforce analytics and insights to evaluate human resources needs and potential solutions.• Develop leaders through ongoing coaching and feedback in private and group performance.• Collaborate with HR functional partners to support business partner drives and integrate their expertise into solutions that enable business goals.• Act as project manager for assigned HR initiatives and special projects across various areas, such as employee survey action planning, performance management, talent planning, compensation planning, career development, and organizational design.• Manage day-to-day HR issues for assigned client groups, acting as a trusted partner for employees to voice concerns, seek clarification, and request support.• Collaborate with the Employee Relations team on employee concerns and investigations.• Work in direct partnership with HRBPs from different areas to ensure consistent and cohesive support.• Build relationships and partnerships with clients at all levels, acting as a consultant and mentor to less experienced members of the HRBP team.Essential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:• A minimum of 4 years' experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent, with specific experience in strategy development, organizational design, talent management, and change management.• Proven ability to blend complex business knowledge and create innovative and comprehensive solutions.• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects that cut across multiple functional units, teams, and HR partners from start to finish.• Ability to maintain a broad perspective on the business and deliver solutions that balance individual client and overall organizational needs.• Ability to focus on critical issues to align and respond to competing needs.• Strong consulting and influencing skills, with the ability to think critically.• Strong coaching and mentoring skills, applicable across formal and informal approaches.• Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to work across functions and organizations.• Basic knowledge of employment and labor law.Preferred QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications are preferred:• Experience directly supporting clients in an HRBP capacity.• Experience and exposure to a variety of HR functions, including organizational development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, and compensation.• Project management experience.• Experience working in a large, corporate, matrixed environment.• A bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Career Growth Opportunities and Learning BenefitsAt The Walt Disney Company, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
