Job Summary

As a Customer Care Representative, you will work virtually from the comfort of your own home, providing exceptional customer service to our members and providers. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your expertise will help guide them through complex healthcare-related issues. Your role will involve:

  • Guiding members and providers through their healthcare needs, explaining benefits, and resolving claim concerns via telephone calls, online chats, or emails
  • Partnering internally to create a seamless experience for our customers and resolve potential issues
  • Providing expert guidance and support to help our customers navigate the healthcare system
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service

Requirements

We're looking for candidates with a strong passion for serving others, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing customer and business needs. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in an automated customer service environment (CCRI level)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in an automated customer service environment (CCRII level)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an automated customer service environment (CCRIII level)
  • Ability to work from home with internet access and a quiet and private workspace
  • Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, navigate multiple computer applications, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • A customer advocate with a willingness to listen, find creative solutions, and address customer issues promptly
