Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Associate, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking EAP support. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to incoming calls and chats from employees seeking EAP support
  • Providing program information and assisting with appointment scheduling
  • Ensuring all communication follows HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  • Accurately documenting interactions in the system
  • Escalating urgent concerns to licensed professionals as needed
  • Supporting team collaboration with counselors and clinical support staff
  • Maintaining a calm, empathetic, and solutions-oriented approach in all interactions

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED (Associate's degree a plus)
  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare experience (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable managing sensitive topics with discretion and empathy
  • Proficient with digital tools, CRMs, and call center platforms
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Stable internet and private workspace required
