Job Description

As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers have a positive experience at our fueling stations and convenience stores.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist Management in maintaining the total interior and exterior appearance of our locations, including cleaning and stocking of shelves and cases.

  • Adhere to all State and Federal Laws regarding alcohol and cigarette sales.
  • Maintain familiarity with pricing policies.
  • Communicate with Management regarding any discrepancies in sales, cash, inventory, or other areas.
  • Accurately ring in all sales through point of sale.
  • Accurately account and control cash in drawer to be within Company guidelines.
  • Help monitor competitors' retail gasoline prices and report changes to Management.
  • Protect Company assets at all times, including shoveling and spreading salt on sidewalks and company property, clearing ice and snow off fuel dispensers, and accurately recording such activity.
  • Responsible for maintenance of coffee supplies, reach-in cooler, and overall cleaning of store, including but not limited to, cleaning of shelves, coffee stations, and cold drink dispensary.
  • May need to check refrigeration equipment for proper performance, regarding temperature.
  • Report all maintenance problems to Management, including accidents, security issues, and other emergencies.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work in other Departments as necessary.

Position Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Great Customer Service Skills

Typical Work Days and Hours:

* People in this position are expected to be flexible with their schedules. Within typical store hours, this person could be working a typical 8-hour day or may be asked to cover other shifts as needed.
