Roles & Responsibilities

As a Customer-Facing Data Scientist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

• Interacting directly with customers to design and develop machine learning applications and solutions based on the blithequark platform
• Conducting and managing data science projects with customer's vision of success in mind in collaboration with their data science teams
• Building a long-term trusted relationship with the customer so that the customers can be led towards success
• Understanding and empathizing with customers' pain points of building AI solutions
• Solving various problems for clients, making an impact across various domains and industries such as Banking, Insurance, Finance, Health, e-commerce, Marketing, Oil & Gas
• Being the face of the company and our AI/ML expertise, directly interfacing with our partners around the globe (together with sales team)
• Understanding the market horizon for innovations in data science and utilizing those to solve customer problems
• Becoming an expert on the blithequark platform and associated tools to teach, enable and support our customers in building their own applications
• Collaborating with Data Science, Engineers, Product, to design customer's solutions

Key Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 5-10 years of experience solving complex data problems using Machine Learning
• Expert in ML modeling and Python coding
• Customer-Facing Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills; proven ability to partner with enterprise stakeholders
• Preferred prior experience in AI services industry or startup environments; domain experience in finance, is a plus
• Generative AI: Applied experience building LLM-based solutions (is a plus) and generative workflows
