Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for inputting patient information, updating medical records, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. This role requires strong typing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare data management systems, and a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Input patient information into our healthcare data management system with high accuracy and efficiency - Update medical records, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate - Verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and medical history - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless data management and patient care - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations - Work closely with the data management team to ensure data integrity and quality

Essential Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred - 1-2 years of experience in data entry, healthcare administration, or a related field - Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and accuracy in data entry - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook - Experience with healthcare data management systems and electronic health records (EHRs) - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
