As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in responding to borrowers via different digital communication channels, collecting past due payments, and providing appropriate payment solutions to cure borrower's delinquency.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Bilingual Digital Collections Specialist (Live Chat & Email), your primary responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with delinquent borrowers via different digital communication channels, including live chat and email
• Finding solutions to help bring borrower's loans to a current status
• Processing payments for borrowers with past due payments
• Maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals
• Maintaining records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers, as well as records of any payments collected from the customer

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 1-2 years of direct experience in credit and collections, with knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion tools
• Excellent written communication skills
• Prior experience with financial products preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivation and a strong goal-oriented mindset
• Team player with a professional demeanor
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience with the following would be beneficial:

• Recent experience using live chat to assist customers
• Familiarity with financial software and systems
• Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

Work Schedule and Location
