Job Summary

As a Part Time Storage Customer Service Representative, you will work closely with our site manager to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the site manager with facility operations
  • Answering phone inquiries from active and prospective customers
  • Showing storage units, explaining the terms of rental agreements, and preparing rental contracts
  • Performing general routine property cleanup and minor repair work
  • Ensuring that all vacant storage units are clean, dry, secure, and available for new customers
  • Participating in ongoing continuous education through blithequark University

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive the help they need on their journeys

  • Support the site manager with facility operations, including maintenance and repairs
  • Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers, providing accurate and timely information
  • Show storage units, explain the terms of rental agreements, and prepare rental contracts
  • Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repair work, ensuring that facilities are clean and secure
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through blithequark University, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Minimum Qualifications

* Driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields. The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
