Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Care Associate - Home Service Chat Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting customers, contractors, and/or business partners via inbound and outbound telephone calls, written correspondence, and/or electronic communication according to all policies, procedures, and contract coverage
  • Explaining and upholding contract coverage to customers and/or contractors
  • Following up with customers, contractors, and/or business partners to ensure customer service issues are resolved
  • Maintaining current knowledge of all policies, procedures, programs, and completing required continuing education courses
  • May assume other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a call center or customer service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in using various software applications
  • Ability to be on video call as required during working hours

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Customer service experience and/or training
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with home service plans and/or home repair and maintenance industry

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $17 per hour, depending on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location. In addition to your base pay, you may be eligible for additional rewards and incentives. Our benefits package includes:
