Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones, responding to orders, and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Clarifying orders as needed to ensure that client needs are met.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including client information and order history.
  • Collaborating with the Data Entry Manager to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Previous experience in pharmacy, with a preference for LTC pharmacy experience.
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in frameworks and ECM knowledge (a plus).
  • Great telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with pharmacy software and systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the pharmacy industry.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Certified Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CCPS).
