As a Customer Service Specialist in our Government and Corporate Affairs Division, you'll be a key member of our Corporate Affairs Team, working closely with our government and corporate partners to promote and sell air travel on blithequark. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers, resolving their problems and providing exceptional service with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell air travel on blithequark to government and corporate clients
  • Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets
  • Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
  • Communicate with customers over the phone to research passenger complaints, advise of cancelled or delayed flights, and communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that affect the customer
  • Work collaboratively with our government and corporate partners to develop and implement effective solutions to meet their needs

All You'll Need for Success

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
  • Knowledge of Native SABRE
  • Ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution
  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable
  • Satisfactory attendance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field
  • Knowledge of the airline industry and its operations
  • Experience working with government and corporate clients
  • Fluency in multiple languages
