Experienced Director of Data Analytics – Retail and E-commerce Insights

As a Director of Data Analytics at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Director of Data Analytics to join our Store Mechanization and Development team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for developing a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. You'll work closely with our leadership team to define metrics, design and implement data pipelines and dashboards, and report progress towards our goals on a regular basis.

What You'll Do

As a Director of Data Analytics, you'll be responsible for:

• Identifying and analyzing business issues within your area of expertise, challenging assumptions, and developing recommendations to address these issues
• Assessing proposed business cases for initiatives and projects, translating business requirements into solutions, and aligning the team with the business strategy
• Developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and inform strategic decisions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines and dashboards
• Communicating complex data insights to stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A strong foundation in data analysis, including experience with SQL, Python, and large data tools (e.g., Hive)
• Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker) and workflow management tools (e.g., Wind current)
• The ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Experience growing new metrics to track business impact
• Experience leading a team of analysts
• Openness to building dashboards and reports that combine data from multiple sources
• A strong understanding of business operations and the ability to apply data insights to drive business growth

Compensation and Perks

We offer a competitive salary range of $20-30 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) matching program, paid time off and holidays, and opportunities for professional development and growth.

Location

This role will be based in Bentonville, Arkansas, and will report to the Senior Director of Store Advancement and Mechanization.
