Inpatient Corporate Coding Director - Remote based in the US – Amazon Store
The Coding Director position at Tenet is a key role responsible for ensuring adequate staffing, managing service line performance, and facilitating business development. This role interfaces with both hospital leadership and national vendor partners and focuses on providing coding services to support clinical and administrative operations. The Coding Director acts as a critical link in managing relationships with Tenet healthcare staff.
Requirements
- Seven years of experience in HIM and/or coding leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management and/or relevant degree with 10+ years experience in a comparable position
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Management (RHIA) professional certification
- Current RHIA or RHIT credential
- Strong computer applications knowledge
- Fluent in general information technologies
- Self-directed work ethic
