Role Description
Mercor is seeking lawyers with civil, litigation or corporate/transactional experience to support new USA dataset projects. These roles involve labelling legal documents and helping train a leading Legal AI company’s LLM.
- Label and organize shared legal and financial documents based on project guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of all compiled materials.
- Follow structured documentation processes to meet defined quality standards.
- Verify sources and ensure all data is obtained from public, verifiable platforms.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet all deadlines.
Qualifications
- Last year of law school
- 3+ years of active practicing experience in your domain in USA
- Familiarity with USA legal and regulatory document sources.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured documentation requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on short timelines.
Requirements
- Part-time, project-based work with an expected duration of 3 months.
- Expected engagement: minimum of 10 hours and maximum of 20 hours per week, depending on availability and project needs.
- 100% remote and asynchronous—work from anywhere, on your own schedule.
Compensation & Legal
- Contractor role via Mercor.
- Competitive hourly rate of $90-$110 USD, based on experience and domain relevance.
- Payments processed weekly through Stripe Connect.
