Job Summary

As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you will be responsible for managing high-volume calls from patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys with minimal supervision. Your primary duties will include:

  • Verifying patient eligibility and updating demographic and insurance information
  • Researching patient out-of-pocket responsibility and working accounts in compliance with billing guidelines
  • Resolving complex issues and providing exceptional customer service
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of patient concerns

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage high-volume calls from patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys with minimal supervision

  • Verify patient eligibility and update demographic and insurance information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Research patient out-of-pocket responsibility and work accounts in compliance with billing guidelines
  • Resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of patient concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and account updates
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* High school graduate or equivalent

  • Proven experience working in a high-volume call center environment (2+ years preferred)
  • Bi-lingual Spanish required
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve complex issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a healthcare or insurance-related industry

  • Knowledge of medical billing and coding principles
  • Familiarity with practice management software and systems

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

* Competitive salary range: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

* 8-hour shift

  • Day shift (Monday to Friday)
