As a Student Success Coach, you will play a vital role in helping students navigate their educational journey, overcome challenges, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their chosen fields.
About the Role
As a Student Success Coach, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students throughout their education program at blithequark. You will work closely with students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, develop personalized learning plans, and provide ongoing coaching and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience for students
* Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their degree program, providing proactive and timely outreach to ensure their success
* Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success
* Provide a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests
* Offer and teach students how to use resources to help maximize their success
* Become a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support
* Serve as a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments and resources
What We Require
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent)
* Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling
* Knowledge of academic policies and procedures
* Ability to learn technical skills quickly
* Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner
* Strong customer support focus and attention to detail

Schedule
* 8 hour shift
* Monday-Thursday: 8am to 7pm CDT
* Friday and Saturday: 8am to 5pm CDT
* We hire people from all time zones that have availability during our hours of operation, in support of our students.
