Job Overview and Responsibilities

As an In-Home Caregiver with Workwarp, you will be responsible for providing essential assistance and support to our clients in their homes. This will include a range of tasks such as personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and on-call shifts. A reliable vehicle and a clean driving record are essential for this role, as you will be required to transport clients to appointments and outings.

  • Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Engage clients in activities to promote socialization and mental alertness
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior
  • Follow care plans and maintain documentation of services provided

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for caregiving and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our clients. You will need to have experience in caregiving or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience required (or 3 years if you do not have a CNA certification). You will also need to have a strong understanding of home health practices and techniques, as well as the ability to work with individuals requiring special care.
