Job Summary
As a Senior Data Analyst at blithequark, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate insights to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data marts to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
- Develop and maintain data quality, data governance, and data security policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis, business intelligence, and analytics
- Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their skills and expertise
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights to stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis software and applications, including Excel, SQL, Python, R, and statistical modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, Informatica, or Oracle
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
