Role Overview

As a Virtual Special Education Teacher with Vocovision, you will be responsible for managing a student caseload, tracking progress, conducting IEP reviews, and preparing documentation for special education eligibility. Your key responsibilities will include: * Managing a student caseload: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student. * Tracking progress and conducting IEP reviews: Regularly assess student progress, identify areas of strength and weakness, and make data-driven decisions to inform instruction. * Preparing documentation for special education eligibility: Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records to support student eligibility for special education services.

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following qualifications: * SC Special Education Teaching License: Hold a valid teaching license in Special Education from the state of South Carolina. * Minimum 2 years of in-school experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting, with a focus on special education. * Must pass a virtual technical screening: Demonstrate proficiency in using virtual technologies and tools to support teaching and learning. * Certified in SC as a Special Education Teacher: Hold certification in Special Education from the state of South Carolina.
